The "Dual" series is finally here. These pieces of art are not necessarily beautiful. Instead, what I want to express through them is critic visual meaning. You´ll see that there are four groups (or kinds) of photo-manips, corresponding to "Pedestrian Environment", "Idolatry executants", "Commercial Idols" and "Urban Landscape". I created these categories in order to explore the different parts of what I wanted to analize, which is the city and its subversive messages. Hello folks! I decided it´s best to tell what´s going on in my art life, so here I am writing... There´s this huge project I´m working on (presentation day: tomorrow), titled "Dual". It´s for my Visual Literacy class, but it has more of a personal intention. It´s about showing how the social reality bears two faces, in all aspects: lack versus excess of wealth, intellectual versus material poverty, the natural versus the artificial, originality versus the lack of it, etc etc etc! I had to go on at least 3 photo shoots to get the proper material. On top of that, I had to collect images from the media. The result
